The Impact

Coombe Academy Trust have been using Chromebooks over the last 6 years to greatly enhance the availability and access to IT resources in every lesson, with over 2,500 devices already in use by students and teachers across the Trust.

Coombe Boys' School is now fully 1:1, with all students having their own Chromebook, and Coombe Girls' School is now entering into their 4th year in the scheme.

Skills Developed

Across the board, students report increased confidence in typing, computing and digital literacy.

Over 93% of students rate their experience with their chromebooks between 4 and 5 out of 5.

91% of students say their Chromebooks are helping them getting organised with their homework, rating that experience  between 4 to 5 out of 5.
